An unarmed, aggravated assault occurred in the 500 block of N. Caroline Street.

INCIDENT TYPE:  Assault (Aggravated/Unarmed)

LOCATION:  500 block of North Caroline Street    

DATE:  Monday, March 18, 2019

TIME:  6:37 PM

SUSPECT INFORMATION:  Two Juvenile-Age Males


An unarmed, aggravated assault occurred at the location noted above. A JHH security officer found the victim, a non-Hopkins affiliate, lying on the ground on the west side of Caroline Street and suffering from a head injury. The victim reported he had been walking south on Caroline Street when the two juvenile males ran up from behind the victim, struck him in the head with a closed fist knocking him to the ground. The suspects were last seen fleeing north on Caroline Street, then west on McElderry Street. The JHH security officer called for EMS to respond and notified the Baltimore Police Department. The victim was transported to the JHH Emergency Department for treatment.
