Public Transit

Public transportation in and around Baltimore

The City of Baltimore and the Maryland Transit Administration (MVA) offer a variety of public transportation options that employees and students can take advantage of.

Save money—buy MTA passes at work

The JHH Benefits Office offers a program whereby JHHSC/JHH Employees may use pre-tax dollars to conveniently purchase MTA monthy passes at work for bus, light rail and metro subway. When you buy your passes with pre-tax dollars, you save on federal, state and Social Security taxes (as much as $250 per year) because you lower your taxable income.

For questions or information on how to enroll, contact the JHH Benefits Office (Phipps 455) at 410-955-6208.
